    THIS VERY IMPORTANT STUDY JUST CONFIRMS WHAT BLACK PHYSCIANS HAVE KNOWN ALL ALONG. THE PROBLEM WITH THE STUDY IS THAT IT DOES’T GO FAR ENOUGH. THE INHERENT BIAS OF THESE WHITE RESIDENTS WILL SET THE TONE FOR THEIR LIFELONG TREATMENT OF BLACK PATIENTS AND COLLEAGUES. THAT IS WHY WE ESTIMATE THAT BLACK DOCTORS WILL COME UNDER ATTACK 3-5 TIMES MORE OFTEN THAN THEIR WHITE COUNTERPARTS.
