Why do they call it ‘diversity’ when what they really mean is anti-white male? And I’m curious to know where all this ‘diversity’ is. Aren’t we all supposed to be the same? Is she implying that there’s ‘diversity’ between the races?

Diversity is designed to enrich the lives and learning of white males. White males are racist, sexist, overpriveleged automatons. They have no creativity or cultural awareness. Their world is sanitary and devoid of challenges, burdens or character-building experiences. Only by surrounding them with people whose skin color is different from theirs can we crack the pearly white eggshell that surrounds their minds to let them enjoy the mysteries of the multicultural world we live in.

The value of diversity in academia is underestimated and institutions need to recognize that even a mature organization loses some of its shared vision if shared experiences are not accessible. Intentional efforts are necessary and require both individual and collective sense of responsibility. It is crucial for all of us to assume responsibility and create a global community that addresses diversity on many fronts.

“The value of diversity in academia is underestimated…”
The benefits for all students who are in an institution that promotes racial diversity by letting less qualified students enroll and using holistic reviews to mask race preferences are unproven. They are vague and unprovable like, “Students who are going to work and live in a diverse world need to be surrounded by a diverse group of people in college” and “Diverse classrooms have more ideas to discuss and are more enriching.” First, if students are going to live and work in a diverse world, isn’t it also true that they probably lived in a diverse world before coming to college?
Second, using race as a barometer to guage how diverse a campus is screams of racism. The argument essentially is that every race is different and that members of different races are themselves a product of their race.
The arguments for forcing diversity are clearly baseless by just a simple study of American history. Post World War 2 America was run by White Males and it quickly dominated the business world. Not just the US but the entire world. Other countries scrambled to mimic the business models and technologies that were streaming out of the homogenous corporations in the US.
Now the US is comprised of a variety of cultures and ethnicities. Corporations have diverse workforces often through targeted programs but I argue that they would have diverse workforces without these programs because the workforce is diverse. With or without racial preferences companies that survive must hire the most qualified employees to survive.
