    The crimes that were committed by the VT gunmen were so outrageous and uncommon that no amount of planning or preparation could have prevented it or stopped it sooner. It’s unreasonable to keep every paper a professor receives that is dark, morbid or disturbing and have it ready to dispatch to law enforcement on a whim. The governors statements are disturbingly politically-motivated and will do nothing to help the grieving families or law enforcement agencies.
