Isn’t it funny that Folks worry about “why” US News has decided to highlight Historical Black Colleges. In effect, US News is highlighting the “excellent leadership” that has made these schools substantial. I’m sure that many Folks feel that TSU’s former president is not being treated fairly. As a former university president, and Black female, I disagree. She should go to jail for mishandling government and student monies that could have advanced the institution and provided better services for students.

Thank you US News for highlighting colleagues who do not mishandle finances, lose accredtiation and Title IV monies, and who have respect for the stakeholders that support them.

This is just another case of a “president gone wild!”

Oh my GOD!!! This is ridiculous!! She should be held responsible for her actions and her attorney should be disbarred for a ludicrous defense. Her actions were not for the betterment of the TSU, but of her own personal gain! How many students did she invite over to her lavish home for Sunday dinner or a rap session, etc. I am a product of an HBCU and a strong advocate, and it saddens me to hear stories like this one.

I agree with Dr. J, another “president gone wild!”
