It is simply outrageous that after the American people demonstrated so clearly they are against illegal immigration, our Congress insists on placing its efforts on amnesty and special benefits for illegal aliens, rather than trying to fix our broken borders and stop illegal immigration.

Apparently, they are so intent on catering to the special interests of business, and pandering to the ever growing Hispanic lobby, that they are willing to throw the rest of us under the bus.

  2. Lloyd Hansen Says:

Congress has an even lower approval rating than the President. The DREAM Act is the prime example of why Americans have no faith in our Congress. I’m glad it was shot down but it will be back. When will our elected officials defend our wants and needs instead of trying to pander to illegal immigrants?

It really is appalling to me that Diverse Podium has become a haven for white supremacy and racist bigotry. The “othering” of people of color by white folks on this site is disgusting.

  4. Lloyd Hansen Says:

Eric, illegal immigrants can be any race or color. Also, opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants isn’t racist. There is no reason why we should fund the education of illegals when so many of our own citizens can’t afford college.

Criminal activity must not be rewarded. No, matter your political party affiliation, and setting aside your thoughts on issues. We all need to remember what it is to be an American Citizen. We need to make sure our elected representatives obey their Oath of Office and keep their Oath of Allegiance. See http://tinyurl.com/2znnvl Know whom you are voting for.

It is stupid to use the term “people of color”. How dumb do you have to be to think that the term “people of color” has some noble, dignified, mystical, magical, unimpeachable quality to it, and that at the same time the term “colored people” is totally offensive. Liberal “Orwellian NewSpeak” at its most moronic.
