When Diversity Training Goes Awry
Done incorrectly, what should be a useful exercise can and has backfired on some colleges and universities.

The sole purpose of diversity training to intimidate white students so they do not question the obvious double standards for them versus minorities. For instance, why are they all aware of the names Emmett Till and James Byrd but probably can’t name one of the quarter of a million whites murdered by blacks (DoJ crime statistics) since the MLK ‘Dream Speech.’ Well, I suppose they have heard of Nicole Brown Simpson, but you’d be hard pressed to name another one (unless one has a victim in the immediate family). Is black criminality ever discussed in diversity training? No.

Remember, when the politically correct use the term racist, they simply mean white Gentiles who discriminate.
Racist is a racial slur directed at white Gentiles.
“I hate racists” translates to “I hate honkys!”

I hope that this incident serves as a wake up call to diversiphiles who take pleasure in belittling whites and engineering racial preferences against them. We’re not going to take it any more. This whole load of rubbish has been allowed to go on for far too long.

Wow. It looks like the white supremacists have turned out in full force on this post.
Lloyd et al., your inability to see your own privilege and to acknowledge the structures of racism in this country is just sad.
Racism will only be eliminated in this country when those in the dominant paradigm acknowledges their privilege and break down institutions that perpetuate hate and bigotry against people of color.

Eric, do you just post here to make me look good? If so, then thank you.
“It looks like the white supremacists have turned out in full force on this post.”
Where? I don’t see any. White people are tired of being called racist when all we want is to not be judged by our race or be forced to judge someone else by theirs. I don’t get why the desire of most Whites for colorblind equal treatment is considered racist when people who take race into account for hiring, promotion, enrollment, etc. are celebrated as diversity innovators.
“Lloyd et al., your inability to see your own privilege and to acknowledge the structures of racism in this country is just sad.”
What privilege? You don’t know anything about me. You don’t know the conditions I grew up in, my struggles in life or how I have achieved the things I have achieved. You don’t even know what I have achieved. By assuming that I have been handed caviar on a golden spoon, you are making a racial slur against Whites that is insulting and incorrect.
“Racism will only be eliminated in this country when those in the dominant paradigm acknowledges their privilege and break down institutions that perpetuate hate and bigotry against people of color.”
You comment is based on the assumption that only Whites can be racist against minorities. Clearly, you don’t understand what racism is or how it works. If I take your solution to racism correctly, you believe that Whites should surrender their wealth and possessions to minorities and ensure going forward that Whites do not out-achieve minorities. Great idea. It’s been tried before and it was proven a failure when the Berlin Wall fell.

Lloyd, earlier this morning, this post had several comments from “Stormfront,” a white supremacist group. Those comments appear to have been removed, presumably by the DP admins.

“Racism will only be eliminated in this country when those in the dominant paradigm acknowledges their privilege and BREAK DOWN INSTITUTIONS that perpetuate hate and bigotry against people of color.”
“…break down institutions …. ”
Man, you said it. Institutions like the Church, the family, higher education, the police, the military, and the government. If racism is institutionalized everywhere, I guess we need to destroy everything to save it from racism.
Well, we’re off to a good start, aren’t we?

Breaking down institutions that perpetuate racism is not the same as destroying churches, families, higher ed., etc.
I do appreciate that the DP admins deleted the overtly racist stormfront comments. I’m sure this post received a lot of inbound links from the sf site. It scares white supremacists when other white folks speak out against racism and promote social justice.

“Breaking down institutions that perpetuate racism is not the same as destroying , families, higher ed., etc.”
In theory “diversity” initiatives are not the same as a push to destroy the institutions above but in practice they often result in their weakening and ultimate demise. Here are some examples:
Churches: “Hate crime” legislation that is constantly being pushed in congress seeks to punish religious leaders who speak out against homosexuality if one their followers commits a crime against a gay. Atheist principles such as Darwinism, moral relativity and liberal principles in general are taught in schools and these principles run afoul of organized religion.
Families: Liberal politicians constantly push abortion rights and gay marriage in the public arena. Both of these institutions are a direct attack on wholesome, traditional families. Also, many single mothers are incentivized to remain single so they can draw welfare benefits they may not be able to draw if they get married or are found to be living with an able-bodied male.
Higher Ed: Where can an anti-capitalist, good for nothing hippie make a good living and spread the same garbage that they were spoon-fed in the sixties? A public university. College campuses are full of activist liberals who just can’t wait to create students who are as “enlightened” as they are. They have created speech codes that demand whatever form of political correctness is currently in fashion. They sit on enrollment committees where they enact outrageous affirmative action policies. They set up racist and sexist institutes where they can divide and conquer students based on whatever demographic they are interested in working with.
Diversity is basically just a front for socialism. Some comparisons:
Diversity says: White males are the oppressors. Everyone else is oppressed.
Socialism says: A few wealthy people hold all economic, social and political power and use this power to exploit the weak.
Diversity says: Don’t reward based on outcomes, reward based on the matrix of culture, race, gender, past oppression, socio-economic class, sexual preference, immigration status and the number of abortions someone has. Just make sure that at the end of the day everyone gets the same reward.
Socialism says: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
Diversity says: Everyone is the same.
Socialism says: Everyone is the same.
Diversity says: If you do or say something politically correct you will be shunned, fired, chastized, forced to apologize, forced to donate to a cause, undergo therapy and never be forgiven.
Socialism says: If you do or say something against the establishment you will be jailed, killed, undergo therapy, shunned, chastized and never be forgiven.
Scary stuff, huh? We defeated socialism in the last century. The next hundred years will be spent defeating diversity initiatives run amock.

Religion:
Apparently when you write about religion, you’re only writing about a very limited scope of perhaps a certain sect? Because, not all religions fit the description that you write about…
Families:
Again, your definition of “family” seems to be quite limited. I know a lot of “wholesome” families that would not fit your myopic description.
Higher Education:
Have you even been on a college campus recently?
I love how you create your very own strawperson argument that diversity is socialism, socialism is bad, and therefore, so is diversity.
Why are you so afraid to live in a diverse society?
