I read this article with great pride. The human was born with a brain and so it does not make them stupid, not matter what race or color you are. It is time for every man kind look at a person and see the ability they possess. Narrow midness has kept the American Indian back, The younger generations of American Indian have steppen out of the box and prove that we are not different than other people. Watch out world!!

I have benefited from the vision of George Thomas and the others who had a vision to inspire Native Students in engineering and science. My sister and I participated in FATE II and we both became engineers at the University of Okla. I am so thankful for those who came before me and prepared a way for me to succeed! Great article on what a small group of people can do to make change happen and inspire others!
